The Skydive India Campaign (SIC) is a unique initiative dedicated to making the dream of skydiving a reality for aspiring Indian adventurers.
Recognizing the absence of certified skydiving schools in India, SIC facilitates transformative experiences abroad, providing comprehensive guidance and support every step of the way.
With the ambitious goal of empowering 100 individuals to achieve their skydiving aspirations (SIC100), the campaign is driven by a passion for the sport and a desire to build a thriving skydiving community in India.
What is Skydive India Campaign?
Skydive India Campaign, is aimed at helping people get their skydiving license for solo skydiving in foreign countries, with the hope of eventually bringing similar skydiving schools to India.
Bridging the Gap
Currently, India lacks certified skydiving schools.
This gap presents a significant hurdle for those eager to experience the thrill of freefall and earn their skydiving licenses.
The Skydive India Campaign addresses this challenge by organizing and facilitating trips to established international dropzones, offering a safe and structured pathway to becoming a certified skydiver.
More Than Just Jumps:
The campaign isn’t just about ticking skydiving off your bucket list; it’s about fostering a genuine love for the sport.
We provide comprehensive guidance and support throughout the entire process, from pre-application to post-trip follow-up. We believe in creating a strong sense of community among participants, fostering camaraderie and shared experiences that last a lifetime.
Led by Experience:
At the heart of the Skydive India Campaign is Shweta Parmar, an experienced skydiver with over 400 jumps under her belt. Shweta’s passion and expertise form the foundation of the campaign, ensuring that participants receive valuable insights and guidance from someone who understands the intricacies of the sport.
Key Elements of the Skydive India Campaign:

The Journey So Far: Inspiring Stories from Across the Globe
SIC has already helped 55 students experience the thrill of skydiving, with each investing approximately ₹4 lakh in their journey.
Here’s a glimpse into some of our past adventures:

SIC – Russia Trip, July 2024
In July 2024, I returned to Russia for another incredible adventure as part of the Skydive India Campaign, where 24 participants joined me on a journey to the skies.
This time, the challenge was even bigger and the stakes higher, as we supported each other in achieving our skydiving goals. From the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) program to earning the coveted A License, the group’s determination and spirit made this trip one of the most memorable in the campaign’s history.
Key Highlights:
- 13 participants completed the AFF program, gaining the skills to jump solo.
- 4 participants earned their A License, with another 2 earning their A License in subsequent trips to other countries.
- Wind Tunnel Training: The wind tunnel located just a walking distance from the dropzone in Russia proved invaluable, allowing everyone to refine their skills and gain more confidence in the air.
Fundraising Success:
As part of the campaign, I raised an impressive ₹2,51,000 in donations for SETU Trust and other NGOs, further expanding the impact of this initiative beyond just skydiving.
Cost Breakdown:
One participant managed to complete the entire training, covering all expenses, for ₹3.6 lakh, including travel, accommodation, meals, and licensing fees.
This trip was more than just an exploration of the skies—it was about pushing boundaries, supporting one another, and giving back to communities in need. The shared experiences, challenges, and milestones made this journey an unforgettable chapter in my skydiving career.

SIC – Thailand Trip, Dec 2023
In December 2023 as part of the Skydive India Campaign, Six participants joined me on this adventure, all eager to learn how to skydive.
Out of the six, four people successfully completed the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) program, which means they were able to jump out of a plane on their own!
Unfortunately, two participants had to drop out because they needed wind tunnel training, and there wasn’t a wind tunnel available in Thailand at that time.
The four who passed their AFF training had done their wind tunnel sessions in Malaysia beforehand, which helped them feel ready for the skydiving experience. Join me as I share the exciting moments and lessons learned from this unforgettable journey in Thailand!

SIC – Russia Trip, July 2023
In July 2023, I took the Skydive India Campaign to new heights with a thrilling skydiving trip to Russia. This time, I was joined by 16 participants, all driven by the same passion to conquer the skies and achieve their skydiving dreams. What started as a personal adventure transformed into a group challenge, where we supported each other in reaching extraordinary milestones.
The results were incredible:
- 12 participants completed the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) program, gaining the skills to jump solo.
- 2 participants earned their A License, and with additional training, another 6 individuals achieved their A License in subsequent trips to different countries.
- 4 participants progressed to the prestigious B License, proving their advanced skills and determination.
- One skydiver is now close to earning his C License, setting the stage for future coaching opportunities.
Wind Tunnel Training:
A significant advantage during this trip was the wind tunnel located just a walking distance from our dropzone in Russia. This facility allowed everyone to perfect their technique and gain confidence in freefall, helping them move forward with their training more effectively.
Fundraising Efforts:
As part of the campaign, I also raised ₹1,30,000 in donations for SETU Trust, further supporting a meaningful cause while pursuing our passion for skydiving.
Cost Breakdown:
One participant managed to complete the entire training, including all expenses, for ₹3.5 lakh, covering their travel, accommodation, meals, and licensing fees.
This trip was not only about pushing physical and mental boundaries but also about giving back to the community. The shared experiences, challenges, and triumphs made this journey one of the most rewarding chapters of my skydiving career.

SIC – Thailand Trip, Feb 2023
In February 2023, I organized my first solo skydiving trip to Thailand as part of the Skydive India Campaign, an initiative to help Indian adventurers achieve their skydiving dreams. What started as a personal quest turned into a thrilling journey shared with six participants, each eager to take their first leap into the skies.
Out of the six, five successfully completed the Accelerated Freefall (AFF) program, mastering the ability to jump out of a plane solo. Despite initial hurdles, their dedication paid off, and they went on to achieve even greater heights:
- Five participants earned their A License, a certification allowing solo jumps worldwide.
- Four participants progressed to the prestigious B License, showcasing advanced skills and experience.
- One skydiver went further, earning the C License and eventually becoming a certified skydiving coach.
The trip wasn’t without challenges. Two participants needed wind tunnel training, which was unavailable in Thailand at the time. Fortunately, they went to Malaysia during their training of wind tunnel and finished their licensed.
This journey was more than just an adventure—it was a testament to resilience, preparation, and the shared passion for conquering the skies.
