The Skydive India Campaign is back! After successful trips in 2024 (and previous years), we’re returning to Russia in July 2025 for another unforgettable skydiving adventure. Join us as we take to the skies over Krutitcy and help you earn your USPA A License.

Why Russia?

With no certified skydiving schools currently in India, Russia offers a convenient and affordable path to becoming a licensed skydiver. Krutitcy dropzone provides world-class training facilities, including a nearby wind tunnel for skill refinement.

Here’s a quick summary of the upcoming program:

  • School & Location: Krutitcy in Russia
  • Dates: Batch-7: 10th Aug 2025 – 1st Sep 2025 (Batch 1 to 6 are full already)
  • Height: 14000 Ft
  • Duration: Minimum 14 days + 7 buffer days for weather uncertainty

  • Streamlined Process: We’ve simplified the application process to make it even easier to join:

    2. Pre-Application: Fill out the form with your information and batch preference.
    3. Scheduled Interview: After you submit your application, Shweta will connect with you. She will schedule an interview session on Google Meet if you are shortlisted. If you don’t make it, she will email you about it.
    4. Secure Your Slot: After the Interview, reserve your spot by paying a refundable INR 25,000 deposit. This deposit will be ONLY refunded upon arrival in Russia after you make the required donation.
    5. Confirmation & Next Steps: Receive a confirmation email with all the details and next steps.
  • Supporting a Cause: This year, we’re continuing our commitment to giving back. Upon arrival in Russia, you’ll make a donation of INR 10,000 to SETU NGO or a registered NGO of your choice. Your deposit will be refunded after we receive your donation confirmation. This allows us to keep the Skydive India Campaign non-profit while supporting important causes.

Exchange Rate: The INR costs are calculated using an approximate exchange rate of 1 RUB = 1 INR. Please note that this rate can fluctuate, so the final fee in INR might differ slightly. Always confirm the current exchange rate closer to your trip dates.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at DME or SVO airport and take a taxi to get to your accommodation in Moscow.

Day 2: Visit nearby bank to exchange USD for RUB. Banks in Russia gives best rates and that’s the reason we don’t get RUB from India. Only 10,000RUB is recommended to carry from India. At 11:30AM, Take taxi for dropzone i.e. Krutitcy. You will reach by 6PM. Check in to your hostel.

Day 3: Wake up at 6:30AM, and reach dropzone aka skydiving school by 8AM. Pay fees and take admission. Start ground school training.

Day 4: Reach dropzone by 7AM and Start with your first jump (i.e. Tandem Jump) based on weather.

Day 4 to Day 20: Reach dropzone by 7:30 AM and progress with each jump based on weather. (P.S. You will follow this schedule till you get your USPA-A license.)

Day 21: Departure to DME or SVO airport based on your flight

How can I become a solo skydiver in India?

Currently, there are no certified skydiving schools operating within India. The Skydive India Campaign helps aspiring Indian skydivers obtain their licenses by facilitating trips to international skydiving centers, like our upcoming trip to Russia.

    I have been following Shweta for pretty long time for such an opportunity…
